Hi I’m Tashika

Founder of The Virago and passionate advocate of empowering women in business. I started The Virago, which means “woman warrior,” in 2015 inspired by my mother, a fierce entrepreneur, and the many women-led businesses who are changing our world every single day.

Over the past five years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most industry-changing startups, retail companies and service brands across Canada. The most exciting projects are the ones where I’ve been able to help a brand grow from the ground-up, supporting a business through the hurdles, and celebrating successes. 

My goal is to continue to be a catalyst for brands that help build an inclusive future where the voice, ideas and innovations of women are seen and heard.
